    Are my specs good?


    I am sorry if this is the wrong sub forum but it seems like the best choice to post my question.

    I am getting my new laptop tomorrow and was wondering if my specs were any good.
    Also will it be ok for gaming e.g modern warfare 2/ WoW.

    Processor:AMD TURION 2 ULTRA DUAL CORE M300 (2.00GMZ)
    RAM: 4GB DDR2
    HARD DRIVE: 500GB SATA
    GRAPHICS: ATI RADEON HD 4200 (256MB)
    CD/ DVD DRIVE: DVD & CD READ/WRITE WITH BLU-RAY PLAYBACK
    SYSTEM:WINDOWS 7 PREMIUM


    Additional features: Multi-card reader, 3 x USB e-SATA port, HDMI, Bluetooth, Numeric keypad, 2.5kg weight.

    yes they are good they are way better than my laptop and my desktop computer the only thing is your graphics card you might consider upgrading but it all does depend on what you want to use your computer for.

    Call of duty is quite easy going when it comes to system resources so I don't think you should have any problems at least running it.

    It's a nice laptop your getting there with some good features and it should enable you to play some games. How good will depend on the games your trying to play. Some require more juice than others.

    That is a good laptop for what you are doing. When I started reading your post, I saw the word laptop. Nearly went to another forum, but saw that the laptop you are getting has a gaming/video card, which specializes in improving performance in games.

    I still have £200 left over so i guess i could get a better graphics card if the one i am using isn't good enough. Do you have any suggestions on what to upgrade to?

    I hear call duty black ops will demand a good card!so as call dutys games are best ever get a decnt card if your a game!

    I would reccomend upgrading your graphics card to atleast 1024Mb for smoother gaming and normal running

    I will probberly get that for my 360 so i am not too worried.

    EDIT: I can't believe how muxh some of these go for. The best ati radeon is £320, about the same price as a regular laptop / pc tower!
