windows 7 starter product key help

Hi all, (Forgive me if ive posted this in the wrong section.)

Basically ive got a hp mini 110 and it got stuck in a loop a while back I managed to get it working again but now im stuck with another problem.

When installing windows 7 again I cant put the product key in as the sticker on the bottom has become warn and some letters/numbers are not recognizable, ive contacted hp and they are refusing to help me and I don't fancy paying to get a replacement key from Microsoft.

ive check the box the netbook came in and theres no product key on there or any of the documents so is there any other way I can retrieve my product key?

if not what happens when I go past the 30day activation period?

thanks in advance and sorry for the bad grammar.

We always assume you have made your Recovery Disks using the OEM manufacturer's Recovery Media Creator app the first day you had your new PC.
& made the Startup Repair CD.

Did you make the OEM manufacturer's Recovery Disks?

Then how did you Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7?

Your only options are to use phone activation and hope they will activate it with the information you do have. How To Activate Windows 7 by Phone Step-by-Step Guide,

or order the factory recovery media. You'll need to borrow an external DVD drive or large enough flash stick.

Is the recovery partition still on the HD? Look in Disk Mgmt to see.

If so try to run it now using HP System Recovery.

If it won't run we can help you mount it to run from Windows or a boot disk. Unhide hidden and system files in Explorer Folder Options to post back a screenshot of Recovery Partition contents showing all files, using the Snipping Tool to snip the window. The original install would have been an OEM-SLP install that activated against the SLIC BIOS table. The code on the COA sticker would not have been used. HP recovery media will activate the same way. Regular off of the shelf OEM media won't activate via SLP so it asks for a product code. That's when you use the one on the COA sticker. You may be able to find the recovery media on a Bit Torrent site, however there is a risk that it may have been tampered with. You would be better off buying if from HP. The other option, as mentioned, is to try and resurrect the recovery partition if it still exists on the hard drive and do a factory restore.
