    M3A32MVP RAID and WIN7 BSOD

    HEy all,

Im pulling my hair out! I just got a asus M3A32MVP deluxe from a buddy. THis is to replace my trusty gigabyte nvidia 570 SLI.

Anyways, I like to RAID my OS. But for some reason, Asus doesnt offer any RAID drivers for windows 7. I was able to try the marvel ones, but they caused tons of BSOD.

So I called Asus and they told me to use the SB600 southbridge raid. But said this board doesnt support windows 7 RAID. He did however send me a SB600 raid driver.

When I go to install windows 7, it asks me for the RAID drivers. Upon choosing my drivers, windows 7 will see the RAID. When I go to install, it completes, but shortly after that I had all kinds of odd issues. Like my docs folder was corrupt. Or bad pooler something, IRQ less or equal whatever, and explorer issues. So I guess its safe to say the SB600 driver I got doesnt work right either.

What can I do to make RAID work??? Does anyone have a solution as to how to get RAID 0 working in windows 7 on this motherboard?

Please let me know before I start stabbing this darn motherboard with a big kitchen knife!!!!

    Thanks to all.

Use C-4 its more efficient. One possibility is to install a vista (or XP) driver in "compatibility mode". To do that right click the installer>properties>compatibility>choose OS
