[Urgent] PC restarts after booting from DVD

I just pulled every USB cable out of my PC, in case they were the problem. Just Monitor, Power and keyboard. Nothing.

What method did you use to copy it? Depending on how you did that the copy may have ended up not being a bootable disk. Actually, with the original disk being damaged there is no guarantee you will get a working copy. I think I would try to hunt up a good clean disk matching what you have now.

You can borrow any Win7 retail installer and unlock all versions to install your licensed version.

Extract the ISO using ImgBurn, run the ei.cfg removal utility, burn all-versions DVD or write to flash stick, install only your licensed version or key will not work: Ei.cfg Removal Utility Lets You Use Any Product Key With Your Windows 7 Disc

Copied it with MagicISO; saved it as an .ISO, and burned the .ISO on the DVD. No problems given when the DVD was read.

Nope, no one I know has the legal version as far as I know.

Try extracting the ISO from the damaged disk using ImgBurn, then burn using ImgBurn at 4x speed with Verify which will tell you if it is "bootable" in text at left.

If this won't work then you'll need to borrow or otherwise locate a Win7 ISO or installer to burn a new DVD.

You do not need to buy another Win7 if you have a legal Product Key, unless you want another copy and then you can use it's installer to install both.

If so, where did you get Win7? Burn it using ImgBurn at 4X speed with Verify which never fails if the ISO is good. Look for the word "bootable" in text at left after loading ISO.

According to MagicISO and ImgBurn the disc is bootable.

Do you have a 4gb+ flash stick to try booting to install Win7? If so, follow one of these methods to write the ISO to it: Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool

Try also running installer from XP to see if it will install.

Ubuntu will install. XP doesn't ask me to press any key, the installer just starts up.

I just don't understand why Windows 7 is asking me to boot from CD/DVD since that I don't have an OS...

I just copied another DVD, bootable, 4x speed, inserted into a laptop, restarted the laptop, and it actually takes action when I'm pressing the any key....

Okay, I made my PC leave no choise but to start up from DVD, I inserted the Ubuntu Live Disc, deleted the Windows partition, and appearently Windows 7 made a new FAT32 partition. Deleted both (using GParted).

Now when I insert the DVD the PC says: CDBOOT: Cannot boot from CD - Code:1

Any ideas?
