How to set up a dual boot with XP, with Windows 7 64bit

I have WIN 7 as main os.
I need to put XP on for a dual boot (have a program that I need to run in a 32 bit os).

How do I get the dual boot going? I have 15 gig free partition. 7 is already installed.
Do I just boot up with windows xp disc, and go from there?

What SIW2 was trying to link there was the tutorial on setting up a dual boot but linked the home page instead! Dual Boot Installation with Windows 7 and XP

You'll want to pay close attention to the second part on seeing XP installed after 7. One question would be the type of program you haven't been able to get running? Since just about everything besides one dvd burning program written for XP will run on the 64bit RC currently in use here I actually removed XP entirely!

You're welcome! SIW2 I've had that happen a few times as well where a link can even end up bringing you to a search page rather then the intended! Then you have to find out why and repost all over again.

One thing you will want to be aware of anyways gizbug is the option now seen in the RCs to actually burn your own repair tool cd especially good for those who lacked a dvd burner. Once XP goes onto a second primary it will have replaced the 7 mbr entries making it the only bootable OS.

That's where you can use the 7 dvd or recovery cd for the startup repair tool before seeing the XP entry added in. The recovery cd however is limited to the repair tools only.
