The hash values of the iso are as follows:

    CRC32: 15665895
    MD5: FE9927FD743423105572568219C0D1DB
    SHA-1: 5D3008624FC4C7E5FB59423EB400EFD5446D93F2

I hope the image is not corrupted.

Try to burn on DVD +R blank disc. DVD -R will delete some info when the CD burned and ejected.

    Burn in slower speed.

    Optiarc dvd rw - (s3)

Im having the same problem when trying to upgrade to windows 7 ultimate, its not allowing me to go past selecting the language because the "drive device driver is missing" (or something very much along those lines is the error)
I have an Optiarc dvd rw - (s3), and when i look for the driver on the official site there isnt one....but the device works fine on the current installation of vista.
    anyone got any suggestions?

    would be very much appreciated,

    cheers

    Welcome guys!

    Problem: Missing CD/DVD Drivers...

    What to try:
Change the BIOS setting from IDE to AHCI or RAID (if your planning to use RAID).

AHCI is for SATA components, HD, DVD etc.
If AHCI or RAID is set in the BIOS it will install the drivers.

Windows 7 is trying to find IDE drivers for a SATA DVD.

Change the BIOS and try the install again.

If you still have problems with the DVD drive try a USB memory key.
Click USB Windows 7 Installation Key Drive - Create

The error almost always means a bad installer. Start over with Steps 1 and 2 from Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7
