100MB System Reserved in Windows 7

I am going to do a clean install of Windows 7 a 2nd time and I was wondering if it is OK if I delete the 100MB System Reserved partition that Windows 7 installed the first time I did a clean install? See screen shot.

    Hello osu1357.

You can but I don't know if it'll let you; you may have to use Option Two in the tutorial at the link below after the fact.

Be sure to let us know how it sorts if you're able.

Partition Wizard : Use the Bootable CD

Or, if there's no other data on the HDD you don't want to lose, have a look at theis tutorial, BE Advised: this one will over-write everything on the HDD..

I know the OP question, I wanted to know if it will still create the "System Reserved" partition once it's been deleted during install; will you please answer my question, do you still have the 100MB "System Reserved" partition now.

Is there really a need to delete that partition, it's only 100mb, which is mynute in comparison to the harddrives we have now. Would there ever be a need for that partition
