    Completely uninstall office 2007

    Dear All,

I have had Office Ultimate 2007 until recently when I upgraded to Office Professional 2010 (after I went from Vista Ultimate to Windows 7 Ultimate).

During the office 2010 installation (or I don't remember exactly if I upgraded) I remember having the option to uninstall previous version' or something like that. I am not really sure.

In any case, the Office 2010 installation went on well and everything is working fine.

I am just wondering why I still keep seeing the Office 2007 entry (along with the language pack I'd got with that) still?

Should I go ahead and completely remove it using the add/remove program' feature?

Or should I just leave it at that if there are some files / folders, etc that are being used by Office 2010 as well?

And if I have to (or if I can safely) remove Office 2007, can someone please confirm the best way to do it? (of course, I have seen numerous posts and info on the web about how to uninstall office 2007, but I just didn't find anything specific to a situation where I am seeing both Office 2007 / Office 2010 together!).

    Many thanks in advance.

    Cheers

Except for Outlook both can be installed and won't conflict. But if you are no longer using 2007, just uninstall it using the Windows uninstall a program and you should not have any problems. I had the trial version of 2010 installed with my Office 2003 and they did not conflict and nothing from 2003 was used in 2010, they were totally separate.
