How do I get rid of vista and just have 7?

    Hi Shawn,

I thought I was doing a clean install for Win 7 and it looks like I have vista and 7 on here. How do I get rid of vista and just have 7?

    Thanks,

    Casey

    Hello Case1,

Vista and 7 look very similar, at a glance. Test to see what OS you have: System Type - 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64)

Could you please Post a Screenshot of that window?

    Hello Casey,

Could you also post a screenshot of your Disk Management (dskmgmt.msc) window showing all of your drive(s) layout? This way we will be able to tell which OS was installed first and which one is the boot drive/partition.

Hello Case1, welcome to Seven Forums!

In the Windows start menu right click computer and click manage, in the left pane of the "Computer Management" window that opens click disk management and post a snip of that.
