Did the F11 key respond at all? What happened exactly? Is it frozen during Recovery process?
I would burn the Repair CD, put it in the CD drive, boot it by restarting the computer and tapping the key for Boot Menu. Once you've booted the CD, let it try to find your Windows 7 installation and accept any offered repair. This may not start Windows 7. If not, boot back in and click through to Recovery Tools list to run Startup Repair up to 3 separate times to repair the System MBR: Startup Repair - Run 3 Separate Times
