    Intalling 7 Problems

I can get through most of the set-up but when I get to installing updates, a window pops up and says "windows cannot copy files from I:\sources to c:$windows~ls\sources" then tells me to restart and gives me an error code 0x8007001B. Any Ideas?

    Thanks

Hello vtech02, welcome to Seven Forums!

If the installer DVD is one you burned yourself, try another burn at 4x speed with a verify with the program at the link below.

    Where did you get WIn7?

Verify the DVD with ImgBurn, after loading ISO in make sure it says "Bootable" in text at left, then insert DVD and click "Verify."

Burn another DVD at 4x speed with ImgBurn - it never fails.

Or install using USB flash stick: USB Windows 7 Installation Key Drive - Create

Sorry it took so long to reply, everything is fine now except that the internet and download speeds are extremely slow.

    Thanks for your help
