    Help with repair install

I need to do a repair install for my windows 7 but I don't have the installation dvd because I bought mine online. How do I make a windows 7 installation dvd? I also tried to make a repair disk but it doesn't work when I follow this thread Repair Install

    Help please! Thanks!

Didn't you save the download file for a $100+ OS you purchased which you own for life? Where did you get it?

If not, go back to purchase site to download .ISO file to save to your DOwnloads file where all downloads should be saved. Then burn to DVD using ImgBurn at 4x speed or write to USB flash stick.

If you downloaded student deal from MS, here is where they made good on only providing an .exe file instead of the .iso needed to boot the installer to do a clean install: http://gizmodo.com/5391268/microsoft...grade-problems

Do you still have the student email with the Key Code & the website link ?

Some users have been able to redownload the .iso file & make an install DVD.

No sweat. Download the version you paid for from the links below and burn to dvd. All the 4 student versions (Home premium x86 and x64, and Pro x86 and x64) are there.

Burn the .iso to a DVD with Free ImgBurn at 4x speed with verify ON.
