Installation hanging on completing installation I have tried everything!
I built this system to save some money now I think it will bite me for that
Specs are
Windows 7 home prem DVD OEM disc 64bit brand new (have all ready validated it)
Intel core3i 530
intel DH55HC Board
4gb Ram(a-ram)
WD sata caviar green 500GB 32MB HDD
VGA monitor TFT
DVD 22X
PSU 500W
PS2 keyboard
USB mouse
Updated to lastest bios
Nothing else installed brand new parts
Intending to run onboard graphics and sound
Just a home computer to pay bill etc.
I have tried all I can find on the net including:
The shiftF10 trick and devmgmt.msc to try instal drivers
Changed bios ide to ahci.
Ide to native.
Open and closing dvd drawer.
Changed psu.
Taken out ram to 2gb.
Tried usb keyboard.
Disabled lan and usb in bios.
Increased ram voltage!
Attempted to install drivers before installation after formatting hard drive.
Tried unallocated and partitioned hard drives.
Removed HDD and formatted in a XP computer.
Switeched off computer when hanging, restarted managed to install drivers in the device manager, system became completely unstable and kept not responding.
Called Microsoft support and spent four hours on the phone with their tech support, he managed to remote access when windows was unstable and confirmed hardware appeared to be ok
It just doesnt seem like any hardware issues are to cause?
What else can I do please help I need some sleep!
Thanks | My System Specs |

If the install hangs at completeing installation then how were you able to get into Device Manager to change drivers causing instability. We can't give you help when you don't even spell out exactly what is going wrong.
If you have an install that destabilized by changing drivers then roll back the drivers or System Restore to before the changes.
If you are still trying to install, wipe the HD first using Diskpart as XP doesn't use the same partition table: SSD / HDD : Optimize for Windows Reinstallation
Unplug all other HD's and USB devices.
System hangs at Completing Installation are often because of video card or other driver loading. Can you default to onboard video by disabling card in BIOS, or try another card? | My System Specs | | |

Wipe HD of conflicting code (then format) using tutorial I posted.
Need to test some hardware: Run memtest86 CD 5-6 passes or overnight, then HD maker's diag/repair CD scan: http://www.tacktech.com/display.cfm?ttid=287
The RAM voltage change may be a problem. What did you make these changes based upon?
Where did you get Windows 7? Did you burn the DVD yourself? Verify burn using ImgBurn by loading ISO, make sure it says "Bootable" in text at left, then insert DVD click Verify. Burn another at 4x speed if necc. Or try USB install: USB Windows 7 Installation Key Drive - Create

I have reformatted hdd drive again What is the shortest & the longest "completing install " takes to finish ?
The best I ever did was 20 minutes with a 16gb flash install, HD preformatted, & a 2gb stick of ram. No extra peripherial attached. | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number Built them myself, Science Experiments !
