Dual Boot Xp and Windows 7

    Hi Friends,

I have XP 32 Bit on samsang 40 GB disk
I have taken another new SSD 80 GB for Win7 64bit
Both the systems are installed and do run
But when i boot with win7 and again boot back to xp
xp complains about Files system and starts to fix all 4 hard disk
similarly when i boot to win7 after booting my system with xp then win7 starts to complain about file system and start to fix all 4 hard disks for reading and writing

Linux partition(s) are not in use so Puppy Linux is kept in disk image file on ntfs system and do not disturb windows partition

What is the problem ? both the windows are installed on 2 different hard disks and
Swap Files are kept on other 2 physical hard disks- so each windows version has different physical disk and again different physical disk for swap file
all 4 disks are visible from xp and win7

    Point to be noted --

xp is on Fat32 and it is a disk 50% fat32 with xp's boot loader and 35% ntfs
+ small 15% partation for linux and its swap partition (40 GB hard disk)

win7 ssd has 2 ntfs partitions of 50% each (80 GB SSD)

160gb siget baracuda has single ntfs dynamic vol partition this is for data and on siget baracuda 160gb partition also holds xp swap file

Western digital 1 TB has 2 ntfs partitions of 50% each one of the partitions has win7 swap file

    Regards

Please post back a screenshot of your full Disk mgmt drive map with listings, using Snipping Tool in Start Menu - attach file using paper clip in reply box. Tell us what is on each HD.

Run Check Disk (chkdsk) on all drives from booted Win7 DVD Command Line, then run Seagate Seatools full CD diag/repair scan and Western Digital Lifeguard full CD scan on those drives.

The cleanest way to multi-boot with separate HD's is via BIOS boot order and one-time BIOS boot menu key. This keeps HD's independent so that MBR cannot be easily corrupted by GRUB or other OS. If you would like to set it up using this method let us know.

    Hello
    Thanx for that fast reply

I had placed win7 Swap on SSD for testing
So J: in this image will show ( page file )

Also Intell SSD Tool box dont recognize my SSD the tools box show same menu buttons 3 times
AND also my MB don't have AHCI So Looks difficult to TRIM get enabled

Else win7 boots in 13 to 15 seconds from my SDD after i put on power
HDD performance is shown 7.3 for HHD in win7

    I have attached DISKMGMT.MSC image
currently I scare to boot from win7 as all working data on HDDs and 5% files are gone in disk fixing but lucky those were zip and rar file of data backup 2nd copy

If i want to work on win7 i disconnect HDD connections from DESKTOP PC

in BIOS first come PCI CARD of additional SATA/IDE ( 160 Baracuda is connected )
Then 40 GB samsung on board IDE
    Then Western Digital 1 TB
    Then Intel SSD 80 GB

I'll send the Win7 SSD TOOL box screen images soon for that i need to boot in win7 and need to remove all HDDs except SSD that has win7

    Regards
