Windows 7 64bit installation woes
As the title states, I'm having a little bit of a problem installing Windows 7 64bit.
I'm attempting to dual boot my computer with both 32bit (the current version I'm running) and 64bit Windows 7.
I've downloaded my .iso from DigitalRiver's Microsoft Student Deal and have tried burning it onto dvd. So far I've only succeeded in making 5 shiney frisbees, as each disk refuses to boot. It started off with it simply not acknowledging the dvd as bootable; the computer would ignore it and continue to boot into 32bit Windows. There has been limited success as I've managed to get it to recognise the disks as bootable, but it's complaining that the checksums do not match. I don't know if it is of note, but it takes an awfully long time for the 'press any key to boot from cd/dvd' line to show after the 'verifying dmi pool data' line.
I have verified the iso and it's showing up as uncorrupted.
Please, can somebody help me out with this?
