    Using WET on one PC

I am ready to install Win7 64bit to a partition on one HD that has Win7 32bit. Is there a way to use WET to transfer files and settings from the 32bit to 64bit windows from one partition to the other?

What I've read so far on WET is that you need a cable or USB to transfer from one "old" pc to the "new" pc.

I guess I'm trying to transfer the settings from the "old" partition to the "new" partition.

    Any ideas or suggestion?

    Many thanks in advance...

Best to start fresh on a new install without importing any corrupt settings.

Files are much easier to drag over via explorer, or just link to their folder on other partition: User Folders - Change Default Location

I find the "Move To" option in this tutorial at the link below an exceptionally easy and safe method to move files in Explorer, especially large files like pictures and music.

Context Menu - Add Copy To Folder and Move To Folder
