Barefoot called it for the fix here, removing DISK1 interference:

Do you actually have more than 1 Hard Disk Drive (HDD) connected in the PC?

If so you may have to disconnect the other HDD and leave only the one you want to do the startup repairs to, then you may have to start over and mark that as "Active" and then do the startup repairs.

See why when a snip of disk management (if available) is so helpful?
Good work, Barefoot, and with bad Diskpart output.

    Nothing like this then eh?

Well, it only showed one drive. And I didn't know that the drive that was being displayed was the slave, b/c they are identical drives. Next time I'm getting different drives.

I chose that particular snip to show one of the other things PW is capable of.

    Have a look at these.

Partition Wizard : Use the Bootable CD

Dual Boot : Create Partitions Using PWBD

Partition : Recover Space Used by an Older OS

I tried, PW, Gparted, and ran a couple of tools off of Hiren's. Only Win 7 showed what was really going on. Strange no? I did type out the drivemap in my first post that Win 7 showed me. But I guess that detail was not enough to figure out exactly what the specific issue was.
A little pro-active troubleshooting based on the bad readouts:

    Run Disk Check

Then test the HD using maker's diag/repair CD scan: http://www.tacktech.com/display.cfm?ttid=287

Hirens is dated with Win7 - PW boot CD is the best tool we've found. I would trust it over Disk Mgmt too hence the need for tests.

Where can I get a PW boot CD?

I am a novice at understanding Acronis, MBR's, etc.
    BUT

I did have to use Acronis a few times to replace my system with that image. I chose all 3, MBR, System Reserved and C.

Is that where I lost Hibernate?

Should I have only chosen drive C?

I still have that image. Is it still fixable?

You probably should post a new question, as this one has been solved (I'm the original poster). Your problem sounds different from mine. MBR = Master Boot Record, which is a way for your computer to tell which hard drive to try to load Windows from. The people on here are great, so post your question, in Installation and Setup Installation & Setup - Windows 7 Forums and they should be able to help you out.
