Windows 7 - fresh install right now w/ upgrade

installing Windows 7 ultimate upgrade version on fresh install with new hardware right now. i will b checking this every few min.

so far it as made it to the blue screen with the cursor... nothign else has come up yet.

just got to language screena nd hit next and than install. it is on

Setup is Starting

just accepted terms.

chose custom install

and chose my hard drive that i 0'ed and partitioned

it is now installing windows

it just rebooted. everything looking good so far. so according to the guide. uncheck the Automatic regester of windows and do it manualy correct?

and i enter my product key and its saying its not valid!!
