    Setting up new partition

Thanks to the forum I have partitioned my HDD using PWiz - OS and working area.
Now trying to set my working area and proving tad more tricky that I expected.

I have moved libraries using the properties>>location>>move method.
Seemed to work okay but confused at the results.
I created folders on my new partitions similar to the defaults - say "docs".
When I navigate to the new location the info at top of window is different than the path I expected.
It shows "my documents" and not "docs" -is this a real path.

Even more confusing, when I explore the folder I cannot find the sub folder(s) I created (like "docs")
yet they are seemingly there if I click on moved library props.

    Thanks D

Follow the steps in this video exactly. Don't do anything other than this: Data Partition

Leave the libraries alone. They are intended to remain in the Explorer tree and only be added to by rightclicking on a file or folder to include it in the respective library.

    Gregrocker,

Thanks reply and link to video.
I am pretty sure thats what I have done (on different none W7 netbook now so cannot check).
It seemed to work okay and as in the video but the paths displayed when I double click the folders in library are not the same as I created. In the same way the video says to create file first, I did this but now cannot navigate to them.

    Digory,
Can you send us a snapshot of your present library layout, for example, here's my documents library:

Did you rightclick the User folders to include in related library?

    All

Followed Gregrocker's link and seems to work okay.
Tried the restore defaults and seemed to undo okay also [just to test].
Guess it is just my understanding of libraries in W7.
    Thanks D
