This computer is still under its warranty. I'd go to the shop where I bought this and have them fix things for me. I'll update the outcome based on their findings. .

    Update:

Sorry it took me a while again to post the result. The problem got fixed after replacing the serial ata of the HDD with a new one. I'm no longer experiencing freezes in this PC.

Oops, it's not the serial ata, it's the serial ata cable rather. Everything's working fine again after replacing it with a new one. I'm still having troubles accessing my external HD though, but I could access other pluggable device such as PSP, USB Flashdrive with no problems whatsoever. .

i find it weird about this disk boot error bcoz my cos had the same problem, so i got a 500gb for him. his old hdd i took it home & testing the 320gb hdd. until today, that hdd is working on my pc. so how can it be that the hdd got bad sector, but when i'm using win 7, i never get any error.

    pls help me out here.

now, the 500 gb is already giving the disk boot error. hopefully it doesn't attack my 1TB.
