    Need Help

Hello, I'm going to build a new PC. And I'm wondering if you can run a Burnt copy of Windows 7 and run it.

Or you have to buy the original one. Meaning going to a store or buy online.

You can certainly install off of an ISO burned to DVD, or whatever you have, but you will need to purchase a key.

Where did you get the burned copy from? If it's OEM, it will only work with original equipment. And you need a valid key.

    Thanks Liquidsnak.

What I mean. When you build a computer, you can only access the Bios only. When you get into the Bios, you have to change your optimal drive to your Dvd Burner or Dvd Reader. Then you have to install your OS.

    Thanks again.

I already have Windows 7 Professional, I'm just asking a question if you can run it.

Plus you can get a burned copy from anywhere, torrent sites, youtube, etcc.

And, what do you mean by " it will only work with original equipment " .

Some manufacturer disks are keyed to certain motherboards, and will not install windows on a different machine.

Oh I see what your saying.

Thanks again, and the parts are for Windows and Linux.

Not for MAC, because Mac is poop. Sorry, I had too say it.
