How many times can we installed windows 7

Hello,

I know, this is strange question!
we installed/uninstalled 3 times the windows 7 ultimate -64bit on our desktop only in one day! (activated every times. The reason is long story, and we did not have another way)

Anyway, for the 4th time, we had product key problem: The product key is not valid.

Do you think are we limited to few times of installation/uninstallation?

Why do you keep activating it? You get 30 days without having to even provide a key....just do that until you have everything worked out.

if you have a legit copy, call the number and explain what you have done. I'm sure they will take care of you.

Hello jeff2, welcome to Seven Forums!

Since no one else will say hello I will.

A call to this number should sort the issue, just be sure to have a pencil and paper to hand because you may be required to write some numbers down; you should be able to install/activate to the same PC an unlimited number of times.

thats unheard of 4 times good grief

just call microsoft they'll just have a automated message follow the steps then they'll release you're win 7

and like the above poster no use in activating it if you have issues or not sure of what happend when i installed win 7 on here i used 32 bit didnt use the key till the activation period was up

then i switched my mind and went 64 same thing no activation till the time was up

reason were saying this it gives you time to work out bugs kinks etc it is basicly hurting you to key it in cause there going to put it on a black list if not carefull then you will be forced to buy a new copy

thats assuming they take it that far
