64-bit worked before System Recovery
Hello,
So I decided to do a system recovery on my laptop. I had Windows Ultimate x64 previously installed and everything worked. I did a system recovery and it took me back to vista. I think, "No problem. Let's go dig out your old 64-bit Windows 7 disc from storage and get this show on the road so I can get back to my oh so meaningful life."
I did a full system recovery, which I assume would be a "clean" install. I updated my monitor and display drivers and tried changing the resolution settings, but it only gives me the option for 16 and 32 bit true color options.
I just find it odd that it worked before and now it doesn't. I have a 64 bit processor, but I have no idea what is wrong. My Windows 7 tech support abilities also conveniently expired so any help would be greatly appreciated.
Side note: Tried re-installing iTunes. After downloading it told me I needed to download the 64 bit version. I'm sure it's some sort of update, but I even tried updating random devices that seemed relevant, but everything is up to date.
