reinstall of w7

im having some boot up issues with Windows 7 and want to reinstall.could someone tell me how to do it properly?thx...

Do you have your CD/DVD drive set as the first boot device in the BIOS settings??

im not sure,how do i check.i had the people who built it install Windows 7.i do have the copy of Windows 7 if thats what you mean.cant i just pop in the disc and reinstall
