"DVD Drive Won't Boot"
Hoping that I just need to change something in the bios that I don't know about...
This is a new problem on a computer I've been using for 2 years. I formatted my sata hard drive to reinstall windows 7. When I booted the pc back up I got this error...
"Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key."
So I made my dvd drive my bootable drive and rebooted, and it only went back to the same screen. I tried several different ways and I CANNOT get my pc to boot to the DVD which I am certain works. (used it on my other pc)
I also (previously) tried moving my formatted sata drive to my other computer and installing windows 7 with success. Booted it and checked that it worked, then moved it back to the desired computer and I get the same error as before.
"Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key."
By the way I have recently updated my bios to the latest version.
Any ideas?
