Problem installing/running 7
Hi guys,
Im having some serious problems getting windows 7 to work. I've lost count on how many times I've tried so far, and I'm having no luck.
Basically, my problem lies after installation. Everything (seemingly) installs fine. Windows sets up my desktop, and everything looks great. But, when I try installing drivers for certain things (windows updates, graphics card drivers, sound drivers etc) and the PC needs the required reboot afterwards, upon reboot, it begins a startup repair...
I let the automatic repair run, but to no avail. Each time it will say it is unable to repair this "problem". I'm not too sure if it is the operating system, or if it is a hardware issue. Ive tried installing on 2 different Hard drives, and had the same result. I also re-installed Windows XP, and that has no problems whatsoever, but I dont want to stick with this, or i would'nt of spent all that money on Windows 7. I know that all my PC componants are Windows 7 compatible.
Has anyone else had this kind of issue before? Or does anyone know of a simple soloution? I would really appreciate your feedback.
Regards
Dean
