Depending exactly what you did, the Partition Wizard boot disc I posted earlier has a partition recovery function.

Click "partition recovery" , do a quick scan of the whole disk.

Tick ALL the partitions you want to keep, then click Apply.

Depending on what you did with the system rescue cd - Partition Wizard might be able to resurrect the entire partition with everything intact.
i m trying this

I showed you an excellent way to recover the data at the very beginning of this thread and you did not take the advice, you just pushed ahead and did the formats; here is the link to the free Partition Wizard bootable disk.

The first thing to do would be to make backups of the data you need to save to external media using the method out-lined in this tutorial at the link below, it works very well, I've used it myself.

Copy & Paste - in Windows Recovery Console

hi have you had any luck yet i have some steps here to help if it is of any help ok

Quick and easy fix to remove the dirty GRUB and get Windows again.

1. Put the Windows 7 installation disc in the disc drive, and power cycle your PC after setting it to boot from CD Drive in BIOS.

2. Press a any key when you are prompted & select [language, time, currency, keyboard etc.] & click Next . Select Repair Your Computer option in the dialog window.

3. In the ‘System Recovery Options’ window Click the 1st Option Startup Repair and let it do what it wants to do

IF UNSUCCESSFUL GO TO NEXT STEP

4. In the ‘System Recovery Options’ dialog box, go to the last option i.e. Command Prompt .

5. Once in the command prompt (X:\Sources> ), type exactly the following commands in the same sequence

bcdedit /export C:\BCD_Backup
C:
CD Boot
Attrib bcd –s –h –r
ren c:\boot\bcd bcd.old
bootrec /RebuildBcd
