    no luck its still there the blank window and the cursor *banging my head into wall*

    If you have no data on the HDD to save have a look at Step One in this tutorial at the link below to do a wipe (secure erase) and then create a single partition to install Windows 7 to using the outline in Step Two #2.

    I would wipe the HD using BFK's tutorial to get the cleanest possible slate for install. If this isn't enough:

    Do you have the latest BIOS version update? If so, clear the CMOS: Clear CMOS - 3 Ways to Clear the CMOS

    WHile in BIOS setup, check the SATA controller setting. Try AHCI first, then IDE mode if necc.

    Remove all but 2gb RAM to try install. Test your RAM using memtest86 CD for 5-6 passes or overnight.

    Run Disk Check from DVD Command Line. Then test HD with maker's full diag/repair CD scan: Hard Drive Diagnostics Tools and Utilities

    Unplug all peripherals and other HD's.

    its the first time i failed in troubleshooting something regarding Windows .... am going to install XP and see if the problem persists ... any Help regarding installing Windows XP via Sandisk 16GB would be appreciated :)

    Just instal Windows Vista Ultimate first and then Go for the installation of windows 7...
