    Can I lock the Trash Can In one Postion (win XP and 7)


    Hi

    Is it possible for me to lock the Trash Can on the Desk-Top so it will always stay in one position on my screen even if I use Arrange Icons By.

    To get desktop icons to hold their position, right click the Desktop and click Refresh.

    There is no way that I know of but there is one thing you could do:

    How about pinning the Trash can to the Task bar?

    My Trash can is now pinned to the Taskbar. Which is even better than being on the Desktop. Many thanks.
