    Family Pack-XP 32 Bit to WIndows 7 64 bit

I would like to know if it is possible to use the Windows 7 Family pack (3 PC's) to upgrade from XP 32 bit to Windows 7 64bit. The price is very tempting rather than buying 3 copies of Windows 7 for my three computers. All 3 (2-Desktops & 1-Laptop) are 64 bit processors but had XP 32 bit installed. Thnx for the info.

Sounds well within reason but it won't be an upgrade as W7 will need to do a clean install and not an upgrade over XP.

Yes! It's very possible. Why wouldn't it be? Make sure you back up all your files and such!

You're entitled to use either 32 or 64 bit with each Win7 license, and can change between either at any time.

Where are you seeing Family Pack being offered, as it was discontinued previously?

As was said you will need to do a clean install since you can not upgrade from XP. You can however purchase the Family 3 CD Upgrade Pack you spoke of and do a clean install from the upgrade CD. See below.
