Windows 7 x64 driver installation issue
Hi, everyone! I've recently built a PC and intend to run win 7 x64 on it which I got free as a student. I downloaded it and burned the iso onto a dvd at the lowest speed available. When I run my brand new PC (no previous data on the drives, everything is straight from the store)I choose my language and time zone, after when I install I get the following message:
"A required CD/DVD drive device is missing. If you have a driver floppy disk, CD, DVD or USB flashdrive, please insert now. Note if the Windows installation media is in the CD/DVD drive, you can safely remove it for this step" I get the options "Browse" "OK" and "Cancel" If I hit browse I get to browse my drivers(?) I note that my Wester Digital caviar is not displayed unless it marked as "X/Boot" I can see my USB stick and DVD player, though.
When I then try to continue it scans for a couple of seconds and then I get the message: "No device drivers were found. Make sure that the installation media contains the correct drivers, and then click OK" And then I cant continue, ive searched and read similar threads but I can not get it to work. Any thoughts or opinions would be highly appreciated
Regards Jonatan
