You are waiting too long to start tapping the key to enter BIOS setup. If you get a sign-in page then you are already into the Win7 OS.

As soon as you restart the computer, start tapping the ESC, DEL F8 key every second until it enters BIOS setup, then follow the steps in the link I posted to set DVD as first to boot in BIOS Boot Order. Boot from CD - How to Boot your Computer from a Bootable CD or DVD - Boot to CD

Once you set the DVD drive to boot first, then Save the settings and restart, press any key to boot DVD, enter Repair console on second screen to run Startup Repair or System Restore

Scrooge, the only screen I see a few seconds after pushing the power button is the WINDOWS welcome screen to log in as Admin, once I enter my PW it says welcome and the circle is active and the cursor can move but it will stick on welcome... I keep on trying f8, DEL, TAB, ESC but nothing works, whenever I press any of those key the pc stays with blank screen.

Start pressing the DEL, ESC, F8, F1, F2 key as soon as you start the computer, press each every second until it enters BIOS setup.

If you are getting a sign-in screen as you describe then you are not getting a blank screen from the very first second you start up. That's when you have to start tapping the ESC key.

Gregrocker, once I start to press the del key or any other key for that matter the pc just stay with a blank screen, WHENEVER I DON'T press any key and just press the power button then is the ONLY time it will take me to the windows log in screen but once I input my PW it will say welcome and stay there.

    Hello again.

I don't think you understand, don't delay at all to start tapping the "Delete" key; Asus is the "Delete" key for the BIOS and the "F8" hot-key for the one-time boot menu.

Start with the PC off, AS SOON AS you hit the power button immediately start tapping the "Delete" key to enter the BIOS to set the DVD-ROM as the first boot device.
