Flash Drive USB Windows 7

Hello Sevens

I recently started fixing a couple of computers for my stepsister and among them is a Mini-Laptop which has no DVD Drive. Previously I had fixed other Minis with USB Windows, but this time after following all of these steps: Install Windows 7 From USB Drive/Pen Drive it doesn't seem to boot and yes I changed the BIOS to boot from USB first.

I have an 8GB Kingston - Data Traveler Vault Privacy Flash Drive, also in My Computer the Flash Drive shows the Windows 7 icon, but first option is Open not Install which leads me to believe it is something wrong with the bootsect, but Command Prompt said it was successful.

Boot the flash stick using one-time BIOS Boot Menu key - it may be listed under HD's.

Sometimes you have to try another method or two to get it to boot. The one I use which always works for me is UltraISO trial version: On File tab Open ISO, then on Bootable tab Write Disk Image, Format, Write.

That tool doesn't allow me to make ISO file out of my Windows 7 Disk.

Thanks, but still it will not boot. I am trying to see if I can enable USB FDD, but I have no idea how to open Advanced BIOS in HP Mini 110 BIOS version F.19 any help?

Usually you will see what key to press to enter either Setup or BIOS at boot. It varies with each computer slightly though, but usually it's the Delete (DEL) key that you keep tapping at boot to enter BIOS.

I understand that, but when I go into BIOS there is only the ability to change boot priorities and apparently Advanced BIOS is hidden, so I want to find out how to open them to see if USB FDD is enabled.

You can use the free program ISODisk to create a ISO from a CD/DVD to use with the other program to make a bootable USB flash drive with.

Oops, what I meant was that the ISO I make with PowerISO out of Windows 7 disk doesn't allow me to use it and says invalid.

By the way, I tried to boot the USB from my Desktop and it didn't work which means that the USB is not configured properly? But, I used those tools and stuff to configure for me?
