Cant boot into my Win7 HD

I have Windows Vista Ultimate x64 on 1 HD and Windows 7 Ultimate x64 on another HD and them dual booting after using EasyBCD. When I transferred my HD to my brand new computer that I built, I can’t boot into the Win7 HD. I have tried to run the start up repair with no luck and even tried to download the Win7 repair CD. When I tried the Win7 Repair cd (x64) it would tell me that I am using a different version of the Start up Repair than the version of Windows that I am trying to repair. Any help will be greatly appreciated and I will work this week to see if I can figure it out myself.

This is why it is best when dual booting with separate HD's to boot via BIOS, so that the HD"s remain independent to come and go as you please.

When Windows configures the Dual boot it places the boot-critical files on only one HD, so that if you move one as you did it may not start.

In order to start Win7 now, you need to mark it Active, boot the DVD Repair console or Repair CD, accept any offered repair, then when it won't start boot back into Repair console, click through to Recovery Tools list to run Startup Repair up to 3 separate time with reboots until it write the System boot file to Win7: Startup Repair - Run 3 Separate Times

It will be helpful if you can place the Win7 HD back in the old machine to make a screenshot (using Snipping Tool in Start Menu) of your full Disk Management drive map with listings, since there could be unknowns like the OS being on a Logical partition which blocks it from being marked Active, etc. If you are unable to do this, try posting back a camera snap of free Partition Wizard bootable CD's drive map of your Win7 HD. You can also use PW CD to mark Active.

Yeah I put the HD back in the old computer only to notice that the bootmgr was placed on my 3rd HD which had no OS on it so I unplugged that and ran the win7 startup recovery just fine. Thank you for the help.
