    Crash while installing

I had a problem with the harddrive in my HP IQ500 and just received the machine back with a clean hard drive. I had a windows 7 installation cd and starting running windows installation but about 3/4 of the way through, the power cable came out and now the computer is on a continous loop - it restarts, says system setup will continue after restart, it restarts and I get an error message that says installation was interrupted by an unexpected error and I only get the option to press ok and it restarts again.

I'm sorry, I don't have any info on the product itself like the cooler etc - it was basically a brand new clean product that has been stuffed with this power cut. if anyone has any ideas that will allow me to complete the installation I'd appreciate it.

Did you get restore dvd's with it from HP? If so boot from them and do a system restore to factory settings.

Or try booting from your installation media and do a repair install.
