Did you reinstall all drivers?

On some netbooks with lower screen resolution the boot animation defaults to Vista style.

Did you have the Win7 boot animation with Starter?

If so, update your display driver. Newer drivers may already be cued in optional Windows Updates, or import from the Support Downloads webpage for your computer model.
