    Recovery using USB?

I recently installed Ubuntu and my Windows 7 partition converted itself to SFS. I want to know if/how I can use the recovery ISO in a USB flash drive so get my partition back? And I know this is a Windows 7 forum but I need to know how to do this from Ubuntu. thx.

You'll have to convert the Dynamic drive back to Basic to get Win7 to boot. Option Four here shows how to do this without destroying data: Convert a Dynamic Disk to a Basic Disk

It's been reported the non-destructive conversion is no longer on the free version of PW unless you can locate v. 4.2 which is here: http://cid-24a0e9031e104daf.skydrive...4.2%20free.zip#

PW write to flash stick utility: http://www.partitionwizard.com/boota...ash-drive.html

Write the Repair CD ISO to flash stick using this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=srOoGhm-jcI
