Hey all. Doing a repair installation due to numerous blue screens of death. I get to the system recovery options screen, but it didn't find my os. It asks me to load drivers, with a message sayin "insert installation media for the device and click ok to select the driver".
Have no idea what to do? Help would be appreciated.

It sounds like you are booting the Win7 DVD which is not how to do a Repair Install. It is done from Windows 7 desktop.
You boot the DVD for Repair options if Win7 will not start.
I also have this problem. My windows 7 WON'T start.
What the heck do I do???
First try booting then tapping the F8 key repeatedly. See if you have the Repair My Computer console on the Advanced Boot Tools menu. If so accept any offered Repair, then if it doesn't start, boot back in to run Startup Repair from the Recovery Tools list.
If no Repair console is on F8, try Last Known Good Configuration, or boot into Safe Mode to troubleshoot using these methods: Computer lags every couple seconds
If all this fails, use your DVD Repair console or burn a Repair CD, boot in to do the repairs: System Repair Disc - Create
System Recovery Options
Startup Repair - Run 3 Separate Times
Next makes sure Win7 partition is marked Active, then try Repairs again: Partition - Mark as Active
If still no start, copy out your files using this method: Copy & Paste - in Windows Recovery Console
