Hi Gucio,

Do you want to keep your partition and just reformat the partition or merge the whole thing together. You can make a backup of your important files on 7 and just delete and extend the disk.

Oh, I'm sorry. If you wanted to delete and extend your partition on xp, I believe you will need to use a third part tool to do this.

Deleting/formatting the Windows 7 partition should be enough. Normally, your bootloader is installed on the first partition (XP) so after deleting it, you will still see the 2 options at startup, (winxp or Windows 7) but Windows 7 won't work.
To fix that, you can use BCDEDIT since boot.ini won't work, and remove the Windows 7 entry from the bootloader.

Gucio, if you just want to delete your win 7 partition from xp, just follow the instructions in here, then do what limneos has said.
