    Windows 7 will not install

I bought a new hard drive with my custom built PC and every time it says press any key to continue it does not work. I press any key and the text press any key to continue spams. I changed the bios so that it boots the cd drive first, then changed it to boot the hard drive first but nothing. This is really annoying me. Specs: Asus M4A88TD-V EVO AMD, PHENOM IIX4 965 3.4 GHZ, RADEON 6870 512 MB, MUSHKIN RAM 2X2 GB 1333MHZ

Try setting the HD first to boot in BIOS, then using the one-time BIOS Boot Menu key given on the first boot screen to trigger the DVD. On Asus' the key is F8, ESC or DEL.

If this fails, try installing from USB flash stick using UltraISO trial version: On File tab open ISO, on Bootable tab Write Disk Image, Format, then Write. Boot under USB or HD's on Boot menu key.

Are you using a wireless keyboard?
