You're contradicting yourself. If you want the computer to be as it was at the time of purchase, use the acer recovery disks (if you havent made them yet, do so asap). OTOH, if you want a clean windows without acer bloatware, you need to do a clean install from a win7 install dvd.

    Hi,

Do you still have your manual? In there, there will be some instructions for doing a factory reset (restore your laptop back to the state it was when you bought it). Its usually a special keystroke during reboot.

Check your documentation that came with the system - there should be a recovery option available to revert to factory settings by pressing a function key during boot - this operates from a hidden copy of the OS installer on the hard drive.

The system "MAY" also recover without losing any of your personal data (Photos etc.), but it equally may not - CHECK THE DOCUMENTATION

There is often a reset option on acer systems that is in the acer folder of the start menu within windows

Theres an acer hidden recovery partition on your computer. You need to launch acer recovery manager to make those disks from that partition.

Good. Now make recovery disks and tuck them away safely. Also, unless you are hard pressed for space, just leave that recovery partition intact, as in dont delete it while you are preparing partitions for the new install, if you plan to do one.

Hello nevo, welcome to Seven Forums!

Just be aware, that will more than likely destroy any data on the PC, I would suggest that you copy out or make back-ups of the data you need to save to external media before you start.
