Update or reinstall?

Hello guys, i'm new here. Searched google, and found this forum. From what i can see, i think it's the best one about windows7
Anyway, i have a noob question. I'm using the build 7000 but, when another build comes out, will i have to format my HD again and install it, or the windows update will do the job and tranfer all the bug fixes?
i mean, i want to have the latest bug corrections and features, but i don't wanna be reinstalling all the stuff every month, you know what i mean? this stuff is pretty stable.

No, I kept upgrading from 6801 to 6956 and then to 7000.

Windows 7 different versions offer you upgrade from one to another and it works like a charm.

Hello guys.

Just remember, we don't discuss cracks or hacks at these forums.

Thanks!

After every upgrade, Windows state reverts to "Activation Required".

If you're discussing about cracking the activation, then it's another issue which we don't discuss here. You should know though, that any crack/hack you've put will be lost after the upgrade and windows will be clean of hacks again. Now if you want to buy a licence afterwards or crack it with the new cracks found, it's up to you.

hey dudes, calm down. my post was about the possibility of update the OS instead of downloading another build and reinstall the whole stuff. I said my system was genuine and activated, didn't said how, that's my business. anyway, thanks for all the replies, you can now lock the topic

I guess the warnings are not about you that activated it, it's about the others asking how... we're cool.

I was saying its not possible to have a genuine build 7000 install. I'll stick with my statement too, its not possible.
