    windows 7 - problem

    Hi to all,

I have one problem, if any of you can halp, it will be great.

10.02.2011 I have install 5 security updates, after that I can't start win

my os is windows 7 professional 32bit
    i have toshiba satellit u300-151

after restart os is going up, and after 20-30 seconds i have windows 7 sign on displey
after that he desapere and there is black screen with cursor.
I leave my laptop like that 10 hours and nothing happend.

Somehow I don't have restore point, if I try to fix over repair ( I press F8 ) he don't show anything. I try over original installation dics, and it's same.

Reinstalling whole sistem is last option, I will like to fix this without reinstall.

I tako off hdd from my lap top, put new hdd and install fresh copy of win 7.

Now I try to find solution, if I can somehow fix win on external hdd.
Or if retourn hdd in pc and try something other.

Every help I find I will be happy and thankfoul.

    Thanks one more time.

    Vladimir

p.s. sorry for my english, I am from serbia ;-)

Hello vladezzy, welcome to Seven Forums; your English is ok mate.

Here's an option to recover the data you need to save from the original Hard Disk Drive, at this tutorial at the link below and be sure to post back with any further questions you may have and to keep us informed.

How to Copy & Paste in Recovery Console on Windows 7 or Vista

After you get the data backed-up there are some other options to try.

re: Try this prut your Windows 7 dvd in and restart your computer. Press Delete key to get into your pc's bios select Advanced Options and set your DVD drive as first boot option. Press any key when Windows asks to boot from DVD drive. Don't select Install Now. On lower left side select Advanced Options then select Startup Repair. If that doesn't work try pressing F* key during startup and select Safe Mode. In Safe Mode type cmd or command in the Start Menu search box. Right-click on the 1st option that appears and select Run As Administartor. A Administrative Command Prompt window will open. Now type in sfc /scannow and hit enter. That should solve your problem if Startup Repair doesn't work. If it doesn't do a clean install.
when I type sfc /scannow cmd give me info

please restart your computer, and after that type sfc /scannow
there is repair whait for restart

but when I go to restart i have black screen with cursor

somehow there is bug in restart, so if i fix that he will work normaly

thanks on this post i do like you wrote and he give me option to go in safe mode

    but he can't scan :-(

    p.s. any new idea?

    thanks

Have you tried startup Repair 3 times?

    Startup Repair
Note: You may need to do startup repair 3 to 4 times.

If you can boot into Safe Mode Try System Restore. Keep restoring back further until it starts normally.

If you can't boot normally, boot the Win7 DVD Repair console or Repair CD to run Startup Repair - Run 3 Separate Times
You can also run System Restore from the DVD/Repair CD: System Recovery Options
Here is how to make a Repair CD if you don't have Win7 DVD: System Repair Disc - Create

Here is how to run System File Checker from the DVD/Repair CD: SFC /SCANNOW : Run in Command Prompt at Boot

Rightclick to select Properties, on Security tab>Advanced>Change Permissions to Add Everyone with full permissions checked.

If you are in Win7, you can also add this to the rightclick context menu to take control of any folder: Take Ownership Shortcut
