Hello indarv, welcome to Seven Forums!

To start, download and install the free Home Edition of the Partition Wizard program from the link below.

    Partition Wizard Free Home Edition

In the PW program, right click the "Free Space" to highlight/select it and click delete, that should make it unallocated space, you then may need to use PW to right click that new unallocated space and convert it from "Logical" to a Primary.

You should then be able to use Windows 7 disk management to extend the C: partition into that space; be sure to post back with any further questions you may have and to keep us informed.

its not giving the option for delete in pw program.. for that unallocated space, its just listing these option as load drivers, new and refresh. Rest options of delete and format are not available.

Is it showing as unallocated space in PW?

If so see in you can convert to Primary, though this snip shows the other way, you get the idea.

You may need to "Create" it as a Primary partition first for it to work, then in Windows 7 disk management it can be deleted to become unallocated space that the C: partition can then be extended into.

Be sure to let me know how it sorts for you.

Can you use PW to rightclick C>Resize into the Free Space now?

Partition Wizard 5 will allow this in some cases, viewing Logical Free Space the same as Primary Unallocated.

Thanks Greg, I had forgot we had worked out that PW would resize a C: Primary to the right into a "Free Space" Logical; we do so much with that program it's hard to keep up with sometime.
