Build 7000 wont install!

I cant get my windows 7 build 7000 to install. I have the ISO mounted to a virtual drive, and also burned it to a DVD. Each time I try to start it (while Vista is loaded), I get this error message after Copying Files and Starting Installation screens:

"The unattend answer file contains an invalid product key. Either remove the invalid key or provide a valid product key in the unattend answer file to proceed with Windows installation."

Never mind trying to get the computer to boot from the DVD......because that wont work either.

I actually did get this to almost completely install on my Asus EEE PC 1000H this morning, but after it installed and it said it was Finalizing Installation and Starting Windows, it froze for two hours....I restarted, but now it wont work at all. Help!

Did you download one that supposedly was already "hacked" with a key? There shouldn't be a key already in the .ISO file...

I'm not sure...why then would it have installed on my EEE this morning (albeit didn't finish). Is there some way I can take the Key out of the ISO?

I don't know if that's posible with a tool like Vlite. try mounting the image, copy all the files to a folder and use vlite. that would be my best guess

If the problem is with the unattended file, go ahead and remove it
Do you have the same behavior in VPC ?

Kind regards,

This is a legit build and it has NO unattended file on it.
That error may be appearing from a memory error, or a defective dvd burn.
Do you have the same error if using XP, or Vista ?

BTW -> Bed time Please respond and I will get back to you as soon as posssible.

Kind regards,

CatFish
