Keeps Asking for Password

I have a desktop with a fresh install of Windows 7 Home Premium 32bit, but now when it boots up and ask for the passwork I put it in and it says shutting down but returns right back to the login. Any help would be appreciated.

Try removing the password in Control Panel>User Accounts, then after checking performance for awhile for anything else that's wrong you can add it back.

If the problem repeats, run SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker
