New install issues with AMD Mobo and Win 7 Pro

Been trying for 2 days to get a new build up and running with no success. AMD X4 645 Processor, Win 7 Pro 32-bit and ASUS M4A88TD-V EVO/USB3 Mobo. Have (2) Raid-1 Partitions setup, have the AMD AHCI RAID Drivers on a USB stick.

Installation starts fine, says there's no driver, prompts for my drive location, finds the stick, finds the file, runs for a long time then comes back with an error that says "No new devices could be found."

    Any help would be appreciated.

Try wiping the HD's first: SSD / HDD : Optimize for Windows Reinstallation

Make sure you have the latest BIOS update; if so reset the CMOS: Clear CMOS - 3 Ways To Clear the CMOS - Reset BIOS

Check SATA controller setting in BIOS.

We see a lot of problems with RAID installs. What is the reason for wanting to run RAID? Try controlller set to AHCI with one HD plugged in if possible.
