how to make dual boot XP and 7 when 7 is already installed

I have Win 7 installed on my netbook, for watching movies would be XP better. So I have divided the disk into 2 partitions, I have an installation file with Win XP on my disk... I have read some tutorial but still am not sure how to do that - as I do not have CD/DVD on my ntb (and an easy way, hot to repair a system), I would like to avoid a situation with a broken OS.

    Hello MTCH.

If the netbook storage controller in the BIOS is set to AHCI rather than IDE mode (you can't change that or Windows 7 won't boot) you will have to slip the Windows XP SATA drivers into the XP installation media to get XP to install successfully, have a look at this tutorial at the link below and be sure to post back with any further questions you may have and to keep us informed.

First check for all the Win XP drivers for your hardware.

If your Win XP CD, does not support your Sata Controller, you will need to load drivers to uses at F6.
Load Sata Controller drivers with a floppy disk is the best way.

You will need a CD/DVD drive.
