win7 and hope to get XP working

Hi all, I had the same problem, changed Sata in bios from AHCI ---> IDE and then i got Win XP in, the 2 OS is working just fine.... But I have to change the settings in Bois when I go from Win7 to Win XP and also the other way. Anyone that have any ideas how to get this fixed? I can live doing that but there have to be a way fixing this, ( I hope) Any help would be nice.

Thanks in advance
