Installed 7 on same partition as XP unable to boot the former

Hi there,

I've been trying for a couple of hours and can't seem to find a solution.

Now, I've installed Win 7 (Professional) on the same as XP is installed. When I try to boot from HDD, I only get the XP entries, but can only boot Windows 7 through.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Thank you.

Okay then. Nevermind. I installed the bootloader on a different partition and set the bios to boot from that partition. works now.

Please post back a screenshot of your full Disk Management drive map with listings, using Snipping Tool in Start Menu, so we can see if you have potential problems.

Do you want a Dual Boot with XP? There should be no need to move the boot loader or set BIOS to boot from another partition unless you have installed Windows 7 to another HD than XP.
